Recently featured on Behance was the Odooproject identity designed by Hidden Characters (site under construction), a duo of graphic designers from Budapest. The project itself is a submission of an innovative architectural solution for the use of solar energy by a team of university students in Budapest.
I was recently reminded of an older project by a design studio – Hatch from San Francisco. Founded by Joel Templin and Katie Jain who started their company with the intention of spending 80% of their time on client branding work and the other 20% to work on their own ideas and products, with the first one of them being JAQK Cellars from 2009. There was an excellent two part interview on iso50 and grain edit a while back which is well worth a read.
As I’m sure you have guessed JAQK Cellars is a wine company co-founded by Joel and Katie with the winemaker Craig Maclean.
Happy belated New Year everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts in the past two weeks, I took some time of work as this is the only time of the year when I can actually do it.
For the first post of the year I thought I’d start off with an excellent agency Moving Brands, who is an “independent and award-winning branding and digital agency with studios in London, Zurich, Tokyo and San Francisco.”
Recently they’ve redesigned the identity of Coyote which is “the fastest growing Third Party Logistics company in North American history.”
Created as an identity for Egosound which is a merger of two companies Ego and Soundboard that focus on coaching of artists on a personal, financial and creative level.
This time created out of Play Doh, this is another good example of the unique approach and quality work Soon creates for its clients.
